Electronic Science and Technology Master’s Degree

This discipline focuses on optoelectronic materials and integrated devices, microwave integrated circuit materials and devices, and intelligent sensor technology. It is committed to meeting the strategic needs of the nation and the region in the field of electronic information. The research conducted under this discipline includes the development of advanced electronic, microelectronic, and optoelectronic materials, devices, and integrated systems with new technologies, structures, high performance, and device orientation.

In addressing significant demands in industrial and digital medical imaging, the discipline has achieved notable successes. It has developed digital X-ray flat panel detectors capable of static and real-time imaging, which are currently being pilot-tested in affiliated enterprises. Additionally, a high-precision temperature and pressure sensor system has been developed to address the issue of asynchronous temperature and pressure drift correction caused by temperature sensing lag in underground wells, earning the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Sichuan Province. Furthermore, the discipline has developed self-biased low-temperature sintered ferrite materials, which have enabled the planarization and integration of microwave LTCF circulators, thereby receiving the third prize for national defense science and technology progress.

The discipline continues to strive for excellence in research and development, aiming to contribute to the advancement of electronic information technology and meet the evolving needs of society and industry.
